It’s been another standout year of development, innovation and growth here at Rowley Spray Booths.
Our Projects division has continued to expand, delivering large-scale bodyshop projects and building strong relationships with some of the biggest names in the UK automotive repair industry. We successfully launched our new electric spray booth after extensive trialling and testing, ensuring it meets the quality and performance standards our customers expect.
Our Service department has also grown significantly, with more bodyshops trusting Rowley Spray Booths to keep their booths running safely, legally and compliantly all year round. And to top it all off, we were proud to be named ABP Club Spray Booth Manufacturer of the Year for the second time.
So what does the year ahead look like? We caught up with Managing Director George Rowley to reflect on 2025 and share what’s coming next for Rowley Spray Booths in 2026.
Firstly, George – looking back at 2025, how do you feel the industry has changed over the past 12 months?
“There’s been a huge push towards greener bodyshops, and it’s more prominent now than it’s ever been. That’s something we’re fully behind, not just in making our spray booths as energy efficient as possible, but in how we operate as a business too.
The new ARIES initiative is something we’re actively looking to support. It’s driving new ways of measuring energy usage, and that aligns perfectly with where we want to take our booth technology. Being able to accurately measure consumption and then introduce genuine energy-saving measures is key.
Spray booths are the most energy-hungry piece of equipment in a bodyshop. If we can help reduce that impact, then it’s something we absolutely have a responsibility to do.”
What new developments can we expect to see in 2026?
“Measuring and tracking booth energy usage across our entire range is a must for us. We’re also looking into real-time energy monitoring, so customers can understand their energy usage right down to the penny.
Alongside that, we’re continuing to research and develop new ways to improve efficiency across our existing ranges. The electric spray booth was just the start of our greener initiative – we’re now looking across the full AERO range to see what more we can do.
We’re also exploring retrofit packages, allowing existing booths to benefit from energy-saving improvements without needing full replacements.”
What would you say were the key achievements from 2025?

“Without a doubt, winning the ABP Spray Booth Manufacturer of the Year award for the second time really stands out. We were incredibly proud to win it in 2023, and to win it again just two years later shows that we must be doing something right.
I’ve always said that spray booths, on paper, are quite similar across manufacturers. They all serve the same purpose. What really sets Rowley Spray Booths apart is the quality of our booths, the relationships we build with our customers, and the level of aftercare we provide.
Because of that, our Service department has grown massively over the last 12 months. We’re pushing that even further this year, ensuring our servicing and aftercare offering is second to none in the industry.
We’ve expanded the team and implemented a dedicated aftercare system with every booth we install. Customers now have quick access to key documents, legal reminders and scheduled service notifications, helping them stay compliant and keeping everything booth-related right at their fingertips.”
Finally, what’s next for Rowley Spray Booths in 2026?
“More innovation. More development. Bigger and better and we want strive to be in the running for the ABP award again.
At the heart of that is efficiency. We want to be the go-to company for spray booth efficiency, because supporting bodyshops with their greener goals is right at the top of our agenda.
Alongside that, continuing to grow our Service department and looking after our customers remains a huge priority. We’ve grown the team to support this, and we’ll continue to invest as more bodyshops rely on us to help them meet their legal obligations and stay operational all year round.
Winning the ABP award is a reflection of what we deliver for bodyshops, and as long as we’re winning that award, we know we’re doing right by our customers.”
